Four Protection Functions of Horizontal Screw Centrifuge
The main and auxiliary motors of the horizontal screw centrifuge drive the differential through a belt to rotate the centrifuge drum and screw conveyor in the same direction around its axis at a certain rotational speed difference. The turbid liquid enters the interior of the spiral conveyor cavity through the feed pipe and enters the drum cavity through the opening in the spiral conveyor cavity under centrifugal action.
Due to the centrifugal action of the high-speed rotating drum, the turbid liquid entering the drum causes solid particles and liquids with different densities to delaminate under the action of rotary motion, and forms a solid liquid annular layer on the inner wall of the drum. Dense solid particles settle close to the inner wall of the drum to form a sediment layer. Under the action of rotating spiral conveyor blades, the solids in the sediment layer are pushed towards the cone section of the drum for compression and further dehydration. After dehydration, the solid phase is discharged from the discharge port to the drum, and the liquid phase is discharged from the discharge port through the overflow port after passing through the filter screen. By controlling the position of the overflow port, the depth of the liquid pool can be controlled to meet the separation requirements.
